In Anchoring Thru Life’s Challenges, Joy Furer presents a heartwarming message about how to anchor your life in the ways of Hashem (G-d), to accept and overcome the challenges that he presents to you through Kabbalah and Torah.
Joy takes the reader through her personal challenges in life, including the experience of helping her mother z’l after she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer. Joy tells of her own traumatic experience when she fought off two muggers who attempted to kidnap her.
The foundational message in this book is that Hashem hears your prayers, and the importance of giving charity and helping others, especially those who are less fortunate.
A School Psychologist trained in crisis intervention, Joy’s goal is to help people who are experiencing life challenges and provide them with tools to cope while reaching their potential. She includes chapters in this book with specific strategies and interventions based on her professional expertise of Psychology.
